Gaming Starts to Pick Up speeeeeed
In 1952, OXO is created in the United Kingdom on the computer. In the United States, it was know as tick-tack-toe. It was one of the first traditional games made computerized. As you see below, In 1956 computerized checkers and in 1958 the first fully computerized chess was made. Six years later, it beat the world's best chess player. Not bad for a computer, wouldn't you say? Next the first war game, Hutspiel, was made in 1955 by the United States Army.( Third Picture) It involved red and blue armies fighting against each other.
